Job Overview

Responsibilities:

• Design and perform laboratory analysis such as FTIR, DSC, TGA, EDX, etc
• Design and perform lab scale polymer extrusion and injection molding at technical workshop.
• Perform mechanical properties checking on product such as Tensile, Flexural checking, etc.
• Able to trouble-shoot production process (polymer compounding) and provide technical support.
• Assist and lead a team in product or process development projects.
• Provide customer technical support (local and oversea).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Applied Science or equivalent engineering.
• Candidates with experience in polymer or plastic industries preferably in R&D or laboratory would have a significant advantage.
• Fresh graduates are preferable, experienced candidates with same field knowledges are welcome to apply. Willing to learn and take up challenge during daily tasks routine.
• Japanese proficiency is an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans and ensure sales performance and effort targets are met monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s client base.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
• Conduct market research to identify potential businesses and evaluate customers’ needs.
• Monitors competition by gathering current market information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, customer service levels etc.
• Clients visiting and engaging them in high-level negotiations, promptly addressing client enquiries.
• Handle customer enquiries and/or complaints promptly, investigate problems and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
• To assist in any other task as and when required by management / immediate superior.

Requirements

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Chemistry, Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience in similar capacity, preferably in the compounds, plastic or semiconductors industries.
• A strategic & analytical thinker with the ability to interpret sales information & translate into business strategies.
• Possess a strong sense of responsibility, urgency and commitment to efficiently meet deadlines.
• Results oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia – both written and verbal.
• Good presentation skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess effective leadership, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Proactive, responsible and possess a strong teamwork mindset.
• Possess own vehicle and willing to travel as and when required.
• Sales-oriented, self-motivated with good interpersonal skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Able to work independently and multitask with strong sense of responsibility.
